The NFL Players Association is filing an emergency stay on behalf of suspended Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. The move comes a day after a U.S. District Court judge denied a request for a preliminary injunction to block the suspension until the legal process plays out in court, reinstating Elliott's six-game ban. This is the third time the NFLPA has tried to get the suspension put on hold. The NFLPA is requesting the court to rule on its motion by 7 p.m. Eastern tonight. If the court denies the motion, the NFLPA would then seek relief from the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
