A motorcyclist's need for speed led to a police chase and a serious accident early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say a DPS Trooper clocked the biker going more than 100 mph down Highway 90 west of I-35 about midnight.
The chase was on, and during the chase, the biker lost control on the exit ramp from 90 to 35 south, hit the guardrail, and he and his female passenger went flying.
Both were rescued by EMS and taken to the hospital in serious condition.
