Police say a man who was wanted on criminal warrants out of Travis County not only ran a stop light while driving drunk this morning, but managed to T-bone a police car, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The detective who was in the car was not seriously hurt.
Police handcuffed the driver on DWI charges. When he claimed that a woman in the passenger seat had actually been driving at the time, she was arrested for DWI as well.
The driver will be turned over to Travis County authorities.
