Again: Twisted Revenge Fantasy Gets Two Children Shot on East Side

Police say it was the usual nauseating story on the city's East Side overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

A group of gang members who were apparently seeking what they consider to be 'revenge' for a previous shooting started firing wildly at the Palms Apartments in the 3900 block of East Commerce.

Police say the only people they managed to hit were a seven year old and a three year old, both of whom were being treated for non life threatening wounds.

A drive-by shooting in June that left a four year old child dead not far from the scene of the overnight shooting was also somebody's twisted idea of 'revenge' for a previous shooting.

Police say they have two people in custody in connection with the shooting of the two children, but there is no word on what charges they will face.
