SAWS Scrapping Stage One Drought Restrictions

California Governor Orders Mandatory Water Cuts As Drought Worsens

It's the end of the line for Stage One water restrictions in the San Antonio Water System area, with the Aquifer rising and more fall rains in the forecast, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Stage One restrictions were imposed in May as the Aquifer fell below the 660 foot level, but the Aquifer has now risen about 660 feet, which is the trigger level for Stage One restrictions.

That doesn't mean you can run your sprinkler day and night, but it does mean you can use your sprinkler any day of the week, not just your designated day.

There are still time restrictions, you can't use an irrigation system between 11AM and 7PM, for example, and there are still laws against water waste.
