The San Antonio Spurs have announced that they have signed LaMarcus Aldridge to a contract extension. Per club policy, terms of the contract were not announced.
According to numerous reports, the 3-year extension is worth over $72 million dollars.
The deal will keep Aldridge under contract with the Spurs through the 2020-21 season.
Aldridge averaged 17.3 points and 7.3 rebounds for the Spurs last season. He's averaged 19.1 points and 8.3 rebounds for his 11-year NBA career since being selected by Chicago with the No. 2 overall pick of the 2006 draft.
