Kirby Firefighters rescued an elderly woman and two small children from a burning apartment overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Firefighters were claled to the Country Oaks Apartments on Ackerman road and when they arrived they found a fire in a second floor apartment.
None of the three people rescued was seriously hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
