West Side Home Destroyed in Overnight Fire

A west side home was destroyed by fire overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Firefighters say when they arrived in the 400 block of Moselle Ave, the home was fully engulfed in flames, with fire shooting out of windows and through the roof.

It was a total loss.

There was nobody inside and officials aren't sure if it was occupied.  Arson investigators are on the scene.  Squatters and drug users have been a growing problem inside vacant homes around the city and are blamed for several fires this year.
