Jahad Woods strip-sacked Sam Darnold in the final two minutes to seal the game as 16th-ranked Washington State upset number-five USC, 30-27, in Pullman Friday night. Washington State quarterback Luke Falk threw for 340 yards, two touchdowns and an interception as the Cougars improved to 5-and-0. Jamal Morrow caught a score and rushed for one in the win. Darnold rushed for two touchdowns for USC, but threw an interception and the game was effectively over after his costly fumble. Ronald Jones the Second scored on an 81-yard TD run in defeat. The Trojans had beat the Cougars in nine of their past 10 meetings entering this game.
