The National Weather Service has cancelled the Flash Flood Watch for Bexar County, but the watch remains for many areas to the west and south of the city as heavy rains continue to move through the area, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The main impact, according to the Thursday morning advisory, is south of Highway 90 and west of I-37.
The area has already received up to eight inches of rain over the last two days...and coluld get 1 to 2 inches more today.
"Although heavy rain is no longer expected in Bexar County, they have received significant rain over the past few days and could flood easily with only moderate rain," the NWS San Antonio Austin office said.
There are not ten streets and intersections in San Antonio barricaded due to high water, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
