Police say a shooting on the city's north side this morning stemmed from a domestic argument, 1200 WOAI news reports.
Police were called to a report of gunfire about 4AM, and found the victim at a gas station at Basse and San Pedro.
He told officers he had driven there from a home in the 100 block of LaManda, despite having a bullet in his chest.
Detectives say Noel Pereida, 40, was arguing with a woman at the house when a man emerged and shot him.
Police are questioning several suspects and witnesses.
Pereida is in stable condition following surgery.
