Bexar County Deputies got involved in a high speed chase across the west side overnight, after a deputy spotted two men stealing building materials from a construction site on Montgomery Rd. and loading them into a pickup, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
When the deputy attempted to stop the theft, the two men jumped into the pickup and took off, leading deputies on an 80 mile an hour chase down Highway 90, to Hunt Lane, and into several neighborhoods.
The pickup driver finally smashed into a car parked on the street on Hatfield Road.
The two men jumped out of the pickup. One was arrested and the other got away.
