Police are trying to determine if a murder in a south side park overnight stemmed from an argument, or may have been a robbery gone bad, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The body of a man was found in Villa Coronado Park, which is south of Loop 410 near Mission Espada, around midnight.
The victim, a man in his late twenties, had been shot once in the upper chest and was dead by the time help arrived.
Witnesses said the victim was walking through the park, when he was accosted by a man. They say the men argued, and then the victim was shot.
A suspect was arrested at a hospital, where police say he was being treated for injuries suffered in the altercation.
