A man was killed overnight when he was run over by several vehicles as he was walking in the main lanes of Interstate 10 on the city’s east side, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.'
Police say the man was first hit by a pickup truck as he walked in a very dark area near Foster Road.
After that, police say the man was run over by multiple vehicles as he lay in the roadway.
He was dead by the time police arrived.
No word on why the man was walking on the highway. No charges are expected.
