Feds: Bandera County Man Threatened to Blow up Kerrville VA Hospital

The FBI has arrested an Iraq War veteran from Bandera County on charges that he threatened to blow up the VA hospital in Kerrville because he was dissatisfied with the care he was receiving, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

The federal indictment claims Walter Crosley, 44, of the Bandera County town of Lakehills, uploaded a video to the Internet threatening to blow up the sprawling VA hospital if doctors did not put him a war related illness and injury study center.

Prosecutors say Crosley was wounded by an IED in Iraq and has been listed as 100% service-related disabled.

Crosley also allegedly threatened a nurse to her face at the hospital.

He is charged with Using the Internet to Post Threats.  He is held in federal detention pending a hearing September 21st.  He could get ten years in prison if convicted.
