Mayweather TKO's McGregor, Retires Unbeaten

Mayweather-McGregor

Floyd Mayweather Junior is still unbeaten.  Mayweather stopped UFC star Conor McGregor with a 10th round technical knockout in Las Vegas Saturday night, upping his record to 50-and-0 with 27 KO's.  McGregor appeared game early in his first pro boxing match, but was wore down by the more experienced boxer as the fight went on.  Mayweather had McGregor on his heels and landed multiple clean shots to his head and body before the referee ended the fight with 1:05 left in round 10.  Mayweather confirmed after the fight that he would re-enter retirement. McGregor falls to 0-and-1 as a pro boxer, but is still the UFC's lightweight champion and holds a 21-and-3 record inside the octagon.  Mayweather was guaranteed 100-million-dollars for the fight, while McGregor will bring home at least 30-million.
