To donate, text REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief, which helps people affected by disasters such as hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, wildfires and tornadoes.

Charges will appear on your wireless bill, or be deducted from your prepaid balance. All purchases must be authorized by account holder. Must be 18 years of age or have parental permission to participate. Message and Data Rates May Apply.

SAN ANTONIO FOOD BANK 

The San Antonio Food Bank is the official coordinating organization (in partnership with the City, County, and other nonprofit organizations) for the donation of money and material donations in support of Hurricane Harvey relief work in our region.

You can help immediately with:

o Monetary Donations: Click here to donate online!

o Material Donations: Our most wanted items are nonperishable food, water, baby food, diapers, new or packaged clothing (no used clothes, please), and hygiene items. Donations can be dropped off at the Food Bank warehouse 8am-5pm.

o Volunteer: Volunteer with us to help pack emergency food boxes or prepare meals. Click here to view volunteer opportunities!


SOUTH TEXAS BLOOD AND TISSUE CENTER - www.SouthTexasBlood.org.

There is a serious isuue for blood supply.  The added demand has put a huge strain on all blood types, but specifically Type O Negative and O Positive.  ALL types are needed. If you can reach a donation station safely, please DONATE.

Donors must present identification. Anyone who is 16 years old and weighs at least 120 pounds (with parental consent form), or 17 years old and above and weighs at least 110 pounds and is in good general health may donate blood. All donors receive refreshments, a min physical and are encouraged to eat well before and after donation. Learn more about blood donation at www.SouthTexasBlood.org.
