A happy ending to a statewide AMBER Alert.
News Radio 1200 WOAI reports a four year old boy who was kidnapped from his home in MIdland on Saturday was found safe and sound in a motel room in northeast San Antonio.
Midland County Sheriff Gary Painter says the boy, Caleb Andrew Tondre, was found with his non custodial father, Christopher Tondre.
The FBI, along with U.S. Marchals and the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force followed a relative of the boy and 'after numerous hours of surveillance' they were able to track the youngster to the motel room.
Christopher Tondre is in the Bexar County Jail, and he will be sent back to Midland where he is expected to face aggravated kidnapping and child endangerment charges.
