Two men shot and killed each other in what police describe as a 'gunbattle' inside a northwest side apartment early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police got the call for a shooting in the 800 block of Babcock, just south of Hillside, about 3:30.
When they arrived, they were told that the two men had argued, and that a total of six shots were fired. Both gunmen were dead when the first officers arrived.
There was at least one child in the apartment at the time, but police said that child was not hurt.
Police say they don't know what the argument was about. Several people who were in the apartment have been taken to the police station for questioning.
