George Springer's two-run double highlighted a five-run second inning as the Astros hammered the Diamondbacks 9-4 at Chase Field. Starting pitcher Brad Peacock added a two-run double in the third for Houston, which has split the first two in the four-game home-and-home series. On the mound, Peacock didn't make it through the fifth inning for a no-decision. Francis Martes got the win. Jake Lamb had a two-run double and Paul Goldschmidt also doubled in a run for the Snakes, who went just 3-and-5 on their homestand. Rookie Anthony Banda was tagged for eight runs in four frames as he fell to 1-and-3.
