Thomas wins PGA title for first career major

Justin Thomas has won his first major title at the age of 24. The childhood friend of Jordan Spieth rallied to pull off a two-shot victory at the 99th PGA Championship, ending up at 8-under-par after shooting a 3-under 68. The round was highlighted by a 40-foot chip-in at the 13th hole and a lengthy putt at the 10th which hung on the edge of the cup for about 10 seconds before falling in.Patrick Reed, Francesco Molinari and Louis Oosthuizen tied for second place while Rickie Fowler and Hideki Matsuyama finished three shots back.
