A San Antonio Police Officer was not seriously hurt when a driver slammed into his patrol car as he was blocking traffic at an accident scene early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the officer had just set out flares on I-35 near Walzem and was sitting inside his patrol car when an SUV slammed into the car.
The officer is listed in stable condition.
The driver of the SUV was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Police say he was hostile toward officers and is being investigated for possible DWI.
