The Chief Financial Officer of San Antonio's Presidio Title Company has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison for looting the company, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Joseph Karpowicz, 48, pleaded guilty writing Presidio Title Company checks to himself to pay his own personal expenses and credit cards, and then cooking Presidio's books to cover it up.
In addition to the prison time, Karpowicz has to repay the money.
