The study shows Texans received a stunning 307.9 million robocalls in July alone, working out to 11.3 robocalls for every man, woman, and child in the state.
Texas was also number two in companies making robocalls, second only to Calfornia.
According to 'youcall.com,' the vast majority of robocalls were from debt collectors. Credit card debt collectors were number one, but Texans also received an amazing number of calls from student loan debt collectors, bank debt collectors, and retail debt collectors.
The cable company was also one of the biggest offenders when it came to robocalls last month.
Millions of the amazing 2.6 billion robocalls made in July were from known scammers, according to youcall.com.
