A 46 year old man and his 17 year old daughter are hospitalized after they were shot in a bizarre incident in New Braunfels on Sunday, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
It happened shortly after noon today in the 400 block of San Antonio Street.
Police say the man was lifting an ice chest into a pickup truck when he jostled a rifle on the floorboard, causing it to go off by accident.
One round from the .30-.30 rifle hit the man in the hip, and the same bullet hit the teenager.
Both are hospitalized with non life threatening injuries.. No charges will be filed.
