If this were a 'Perry Mason' mystery it would be 'The Case of the Purloined Puppy.'
News Radio 1200 WOAI reports a woman in a black dress and long blonde hair walked into Animal Care Services and stole a shi tzu dog from the shelter.
Multiple security cameras photographed the woman, complete with white sunglasses and French manicured nails, and a small child who held onto her large purse.
She she and the child left, the six year old shi tsu was missing.
ACS says it loves having people adopt its stray animals, but you have to do it legally, and several people had expressed interest in adopting the dog the legitimate way.
The six year old male dog is microchipped. No word what the punishment is when the shi tsu hits the fan.
