Actor Martin Landau Dies At Age 89

Legendary actor Martin Landau is  dead.  The actor known for his roles in "North by Northwest" and "Ed  Wood" died Saturday after suffering complications during a short  hospital stay at UCLA Medical Center.  He was 89-years-old.  Landau  earned the Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 1994 for his role in "Ed  Wood."  He earned Academy Award nominations for his roles in 1988's  "Tucker: The Man and His Dream" and 1989's "Crimes and Misdemeanors."   Landau also was known for his role on the "Mission: Impossible"  television series in the 1960s.
