A southwest side man is hospitalized in critical condition after a dispute with a neighbor ended in gunfire early Saturday, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say a man in his twenties was driving down Amber Valley Dr. about 3AM today when he was stopped by a neighbor he had been having a running dispute with.
The two men yelled at each other for a few minutes, when the man who had been stopped ran into his house and emerged with a shotgun.
The street argument continued, with the man firing a couple of shots into the air.. Then one of the shots hit the other man in the stomach.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was undergoing surgery.
Police are trying to determine is charges are warranted..
