A 40 year old man was unable, or unwilling, to give police any information about who stabbed him at Miller's Pond Community Park on the city's southwest side early today, or why.
News Radio 1200 WOAI reports the man staggered across Old Pearsall Rd. to a Valero station to get help. He is listed in critical conditon at University Hospital with two stab wounds in the back.
Police said they didn't know what the man was doing at the park at 2 AM, which is closed due to the city's park curfew.
