Prized free-agent forward Gordon Hayward is picking the Boston Celtics. Hayward made the official announcement on the Players' Tribune website Tuesday evening. Hayward had also been considering the Miami Heat and his former team, the Utah Jazz. A move to Boston will reunite him with head coach Brad Stevens, who also coached him in college at Butler. Hayward averaged 21.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 73 games with the Jazz last season. He was selected ninth overall by Utah in the 2010 NBA Draft.
