President Trump seems to be acknowledging Russian meddling in the U.S. election while criticizing President Obama for it. In a tweet, Trump said "Just out: The Obama Administration knew far in advance of November 8th about election meddling by Russia. Did nothing about it. WHY?" The "Washington Post" says the prior administration had intelligence detailing Russian President Vladimir Putin's direct involvement in a cyber campaign to disrupt and discredit the U.S. presidential race. The Post story said Obama didn't go public with the information because he felt it would look like he was trying to help Hillary Clinton win the election.
