New Braunfels Police: Teen Was Robbed, Murdered by 15, 16 Year Olds

Police in New Braunfels say the murder of a 17 year old boy over the weekend was a capital murder...a murder committed during the course of a robbery...and committed by 15 and 16 year olds, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say this sad story of young lives ruined in a heartbeat began when Conrad Kuntz, and three other boys met about midnight Saturday night at a home in the 1500 block of Lahn Road.

During the course of the meeting, detectives say a 16 year old boy who was arrested today decided to rob Conrad.

When Conrad fought back, a 15 year old boy from Marion, who is already in custody, pulled a handgun and shot him to death.Another teen, a 16 year old, is also charged with Conrad's death.

The teens, as children, cannot be charged with capital murder.Police say the investigation will continue.
