Police: Woman Intentionally Smashed into Patrol Car--Twice

A woman in her fifties has been hospitalized for observation after allegedly intentionally ramming her pickup truck into a parked San Antonio Police car overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say the offer was parked in a lot near Eisenhauer and Kingston on the northeast side about 1:30 this morning when he saw the woman pull into the lot.

When he got out of his car to check on her, he says she smashed into his patrol car, then threw it into reverse and smashed into it again.

The officer wasn't hurt.  The woman suffered cuts, but officers said she appeared to be having emotional issues and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

No word yet on possible charges.
