Two quick thinking East Central ISD police officers are credited with rescuing a little girl who had fallen into a swimming pool in east Bexar County last night, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The Bexar County Sheriff says it happened in the 6600 block of Stuart Rd, across the street from an East Central school.
Deputies say when the officers arrived, the little girl was non responsive and was not breathing and had no pulse.
The officers immediately began performing CPS on the girl, and managed to get her revived by the time an Airlife helicopter arrived and rushed her to University Hospital.
No further update on the girl's condition was available, but the fact that she was alive at all is a credit to two heroic police officers.
