Man Charged With Selling Stolen Power Tools Out of His Home

Like they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true.

San Antonio Police Fencing Interdiction Team officers have arrested a northwest side man for allegedly selling brand name power tools out of his home at super cut rate prices.

Now it turns out the man was allegedly buying the tools from thieves who stole them from several area home improvement stores and was selling them out of his home.

The man, who was not identified while the investigation is underway, will face charges of Retail Organized Crime.

Police are trying to match the stolen tools, most of them were DeWalt brand, to the stores they were stolen from.  They're also trying to track down the thieves who stole the tools and sold them to the suspect.
