A man is in critical condition after being stabbed during a robbery in a northwest side commercial area, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the victim was walking behind a shopping center near I-10 and Dezavala about 1AM when a man passed him and asked him the time.
After the man responded, the other man walked on, then suddenly turned, returned, and hit the man in the head..and demanded his money..
He then pulled a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times, then ran off.
The victim was able to give police a description of the suspect who remains at large.
