A visit by the repo man led to an all night standoff at a home in Elmendorf, Sheriff's Deputies tell News Radio 1200 WOAI.
It started last night when a man repossessed a pickup truck from a home on Stuart Road.Officials say the owner of the truck then ran after the tow truck, and at one point fired several shots into the air from an AR-15 style weapon.
The man then retreated to his home and barricaded himself inside.
Deputies ended the standoff peacefully by firing tear gas into the home. Sheriff's deputies say the man has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
They say three children were also in the home at the time, but they were not hurt.
