Man Dies in Massive Barrage of Gunfire

A man in his thirties was killed early Saturday when as many as 40 shots were fired into his car in an east side parking lot, News Radio 120 WOAI reports.

Police were called to Martin Luther King and Amanda Streets about 12:30 this morning on a report of gunfire, and when officers arrived the found there had indeed been plenty of gunfire.

Shell casings littered the intersection.

In the parking lot of the MLK Food Mart they found a blue car that was pierced with dozens of bullet holes.

Inside the car they found the victim, dead from multiple bullet wounds.

Police are questioning witnesses, but right now, detectives don't have much to go on.
