Attack At London Bridge

BRITAIN-INCIDENT

Metropolitan Police are declaring two  incidents in downtown London as terrorism.  UK police tweeted that the  situations at the London Bridge and Borough Market are "terrorist  incidents."

A vehicle plowed into pedestrians on the London Bridge  Saturday night, and then shortly after that there were stabbings at  Borough Market near the bridge.  Police say at least one person is dead.

Officers say a third incident in the Vauxhall area was a stabbing  that is not connected to the other events.

President Trump is calling for a  travel ban following three different incidents in downtown London.  On  Twitter, Trump said -- quote -- "We need to be smart, vigilant and  tough.  We need the courts to give us back our rights."  He says "we  need the Travel Ban as an extra level of security."  Trump added that  the U.S. will do whatever they can to help London and the U.K.  Trump  has been briefed on the situation.

The incident comes just one day before Ariana Grande's "One Love" benefit concert  for those affected by the bombing at her concert in Manchester.
