A teenager is clinging to life at SAMMC after he was found inside an SUV on an East Side street early today, bleeding from four gunshot wounds, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police were claled to East Commerce and North Gevers about 12:30AM, and when they arrived, they pulled over the SUV and found the 19 year old in the back.

He had been shot in the back and arm and he was rushed to SAMMC where doctors said he may not make it.

Police have the driver of the SUV in custody, but they say he is being 'very uncooperative.'  Detectives don't think the 19 year old was shot at that location but they don't know where he was shot, whether he was shot inside or from outside the vehicle, and have no idea of motive or suspects.
