Mayor Taylor today released a photo of herself, complete with a forced smile, wearing a Golden State Warriors T-Shirt as she sat behind her desk at City Hall, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The Mayor said she was marking the opening night of the NBA Finals by paying off a bet she made with Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf on the Western Conference Finals, which was swept by the Warriors.
The bet didn't say a word about how long the mayor had to wear the t-shirt, and it had already been discarded in favor of a business suit when she presided over the City Council meeting at 9 AM.
