The National Weather Service expects scattered thunderstorms on Memorial Day but the strong storms which passed through much of the area last night have diminished.
News Radio 1200 WOAI reports all of the watches and warnings that were posted Sunday night have expired.
In fact, scattered storms will remain in our forecast all week long, so keep that umbrella handy.
Another major change we'll see today--I wont be as hot or as muggy.. Today's high will only be around 80.
