U.S. and South Korean officials confirm that North Korea has launched an unidentified projectile. It's not yet clear if it was a missile or a test launch. South Korea's Yonhap news agency reports it appeared to be a ballistic missile. The launch early Sunday originated from an area near the country's west coast. It comes two weeks after a ballistic missile test launch that failed.
