A woman was killed late Saturday when police say the grabbed the steering wheel of her boyfriend's SUV as they were arguing while driving down Loop 1604 at 60 miles an hour, police tell News Radio 1200 WOAI.
The SUV went out of control and rolled over an embankment.
The woman was trapped in the wreckage. She was pronounced dead by EMS after he was extricated.
A second woman in the SUV was rushed to University Hospital by AirLife helicopter, where she is in stable condition.
The boyfriend who was driving was not seriously hurt, but he is being detained by Sheriff's Deputies for possible DWI
