A man opened fire into a crowd of people standing in a north side parking lot early Sunday, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
It happened in the 4500 block of Loop 1604 West, near Lockhill-Selma Rd.
Police say it happened at closing time at a tavern in a strip center.About a dozen people were in the parking lot when the shooting took place.
A 27 year old man was shot in the neck, and he is in stable condition at University Hospital.
Police have no idea why the man opened fire, or whether the man who was wounded was the person he was aiming at.So far, no arrests.
