Spurs: Parker Suffered from Knee Injury that Will Require Surgery

The San Antonio Spurs reported this afternoon that Tony Parker suffered from a ruptured left quadracep tendon, an injury to the knee that will require surgery, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Parker crumpled to the hardwood int he fourth quarter of last night's playoff victory over the Rockets and had to be carried off the court by his teammates.

Parker, 34, will have to undergo surgery and will be out for the rest of the playoffs.
