An altercation in the parking lot of an east side motel ended with nine shots fired inside a motel room, and a victim rushed to the hospital in critical condition, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say a 30 year old man argued with another man in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn at I-10 and W.W. White.The man ended up following the victim back to his motel room, and started smashing the window in the room
.At that point, the man who was registered in the room pulled a gun and opened fire.
He fired nine times inside the small hotel room, but only three of the shots hit the victim, who was shot two times in the leg and once in the body.
Amazingly, the gunman had his two daughters with him at the time of the shooting. He and the little girls drove away and remain at large.
