Police day two teenagers were shot as they walked down a drainage ditch on their was home from school, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police were called to Jackson-Keller about 2 this afternoon on a report of gunfire.
Chief William McManus said the 16 year old make and 18 year old male were walking home from school down the drainage ditch when they were accosted by a man.
When the man approached the male student and tried to touch him, the teenager brushed his hand away.
At that point the man pulled a gun and fired once, the same bullet apparently wounding both victims.
They are being treated for non life threatening wounds.
No word on what the gunman's motives may have been.
