A man is dead after police say he was stabbed as many as 14 times during an argument in the middle of a north side street, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say two men were arguing in the 100 block of East Rampart, which is just south of North Star Mall, about 11 last night.
One of the men pulled a knife and started plunging it into the victim's chest.
The man was dead by the time police arrived. The man who did it was still standing over the victim's lifeless body when officers got there.
No word on what the argument was about.
