Everything from anti freeze to plastic bottles will be made at a massive ExxonMobil petrochemical plant to be built in San Patricio County north of Corpus Christi, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The multi billion dollar facility is the largest project provided an incentive by the Texas Economic Fund during Gov. Greg Abbott's term, Abbott said today.
"Texas has shown the business world that our state is the plane where innovation and ingenuity thrive," Abbott said.
The plant will create more than 600 direct high paying manufacturing, chemical, and technology jobs.
The project will manufacture products for worldwide use using Texas ports for export.
ExxonMobil says the plant will 'capture competitive feedstock, capitalize on the growing demand for ethylene-based products.'
